Good Quality by Matthew A. GarnerI purchased these speakers as part of my equipment for outdoor weddings for my DJ business. I have since taken them out to one such event, with more pending. I've also used them as part of the surround sound setup in my home theatre system.
As outdoor speakers, the sound quality is good, provided you send the majority of your volume out from your source, rather than the speakers themselves, as they tend to get a bit scratchy at the higher volumes. High wind will carry away the bulk of the sound, and RF signals from outside sources (like the boats docked not far from the wedding where I worked) will interrupt the signal.
Indoors, these puppies really shine. They give an excellent, warm, rich tone as supplemental surround-sound speakers, especially with jazz. Heavy bass does tend to distort the sound on these speakers, as they're not really built for excessive low-end performance, but overall, I can't complain.
