I have owned the Squeezebox since last November and I've been mostly pleased with it as well as dealing with some glitches myself. But what cell phone , computer , Ipod etc. hasn't had their share, especially when it first comes out.

I noticed people complaining when it plays for 5 minutes , then just craps out. I've had that happened to me , but the problem wasn't the SB...it was the wireless router connections most of you have. When you have a wireless signal router, you have neighbors that love to parasite on your signals, especially on protocol G. These many loafers....which causes your signal to the radio to crap out. The solution....change channels from the PSK out of 11 channels. Unfortunately my wireless does not bump to a different frequency. It's not like a wireless phone when a neighbor jumps on with an overlap signal on the same channel, your phone hops to the next clear channel. The other best bet is just stay wired with the Linksys for 59.00. You'll have alot more consistency and even better sound if it stays wired directly with ethernet, believe me. If you want to stay wired...try a 5 GHZ router. Less people are on the band , and it doesn't travel out as far which won't attract as many Obama handouts that effects the WIFI reception when too many are linked on your one channel.

Otherwise, like eveything else you need to experiment with it ,and learn eveything what it can do. The rest of the issues I have not had, and it makes me feel it seems the purchaser's problem. There will be some weird effects occasionally but if you know how to work it

Another problem...there's just alot of unreliable stations out there. Especially from terrestrial to Live 365 that are unreliable. There servers crash , can't handle the overload, or one day , didn't pay the bill. Not everything is consistent like Club.FM, 977, Sirius, etc.

Yes I had stations playing loud and clear, but I had the web site of another station on the interface, or I have to push one of my pre-sets to get the sound and play started. Then go to my pre-sets on Radio time , and choose the right station I want playing. Plus hook up some speakers in the headphone jack, and you have a sound system . For [...] bucks, get a good set of digital speakers. This has been the best invention, since the satellite radio.

Excellent Buy by Erin Lubbers
After researching several options, this Sony receiver came in at the best price point and best options for what we were looking for. Very easy to install and the number of radio stations that come in only using the provided FM antenna is amazing. Easy to use and excellent quality. The DMP will be a nice additional as well.

Great Digital Converter. by Daniel M. Adams
I'm so glad I could find this converter box again. It's an exact replacement for the one that was stolen last month. I can't afford cable and this converter box keeps me connected to my favorite station, PBS. The remote is easy to use and comes with user friendly instructions. This is a good deal for anyone.
